Hooghly District Court has recently invited applications for the 75 post of Stenographer, LDC, Typist-Copyist, Process Server and Peon. Candidates who’s age is not more than as specified in Hooghly District Court jobs notification and having qualification of 8th Pass/ Madhyamik from the University/ Institute recognized by the Government of India with relevant experience (if any) are eligible to apply for the post.

- English Stenographer – 08
- Lower Division Clerk – 16
- English Typist-Copyist – 11
- Process Server – 05
- Peon – 35
Educational Qualification:
- English Stenographer – Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and minimum speed 80 wpm. in shorthand, 30 wpm. in typewriting from a legible manuscript in English for 10 minutes
- Lower Division Clerk – Madhyamik Passed or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and certificate in Computer Training from recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation
- English Typist-Copyist – Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and minimum typing speed from legible manuscript 30 wpm in English
- Process Server – 8th pass certificate from any recognized school or Madrasah or any other recognized equivalent Institution
- Peon – 8th pass certificate from any recognized school or Madrasah or any other recognized equivalent Institution
Selection Procedure:
Candidates have to appear for Written Test and/or Interview.
