Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2024 for Primary and Junior Level Exams

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has released the notification for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2024. Candidates interested in applying for the Primary (Class I-V) and Junior (Class VI-VIII) Level Exams can do so online from 23 July 2024 to 17 August 2024. Eligibility Criteria

Primary Level (Class I-V) - Code Details:

  • Code 01: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
  • Code 02: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
  • Code 03: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • Code 04: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Code 05: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
  • Code 06: Shiksha Mitra passed Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from IGNOU.

Junior Level (Class VI-VIII) - Code Details:

  • Code 01: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
  • Code 02: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri) (Regular).
  • Code 03: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri) (Regular), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time.
  • Code 04: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • Code 05: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • Code 06: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
  • Code 07: At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). The minimum percentage of marks in Graduation shall not be applicable to those who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course before 29 July 2011.
