The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) Ranchi has released the notification for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2024. Interested candidates can apply online for the Primary (Class I-V) and Junior (Class VI-VIII) Level Exams from 23 July 2024 to 22 August 2024. Eligibility Details
Primary Level (Class I-V):
- Option 1: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
- Option 2: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
- Option 3: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Option 4: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Option 5: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
- Note: Candidates from other states are also eligible.
Junior Level (Class VI-VIII):
- Option 1: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.).
- Option 2: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri) (Regular).
- Option 3: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri) (Regular), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Option 4: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Option 5: 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Option 6: Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Note: Candidates from other states are also eligible.
