About: Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)
Unique identification project was initially conceived by the Planning Commission as an initiative that would provide identification for each resident across the country and would be used primarily as the basis for efficient delivery of welfare services. The role that the Authority envisions is to issue a unique identification number (UIDAI) that can be verified and authenticated in an online and cost-effective manner.
The Mission of Unique Identification Authority of India is to have Universal Aadhaar enrollment for the entire population by 2015 with a well-defined turnaround time and adhering to stringent quality metrics.
UIDAI invite application on the prescribed form for given posts on deputation in its regional office at Hyderabad. The initial period of deputation shall be for 3 years extendable by a further period of two years.
