SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2017 Analysis and Cutoff Marks : The SSC CGL Board has conducted three examinations on Saturday, 5th August which will carry on till 24/08/2017. Candidates those who passed SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2017 need to appear for forth coming rounds of Examinations SSC CGL Tier 2, SSC CGL Tier 3 and SSC CGL Tier 4 to be considered eligible for selection.

  • Chest – 81 cms. (fully expanded with a minimum expanses of 5 cms.)

Physical Test for Male Candidates:

  • Walking : 1600 metres in 15 minutes
  • Cycling : 8 Kms in 30 minutes

Physical Standards for Female Candidates:

  • Height – 152 cms.
  • Weight – 48 Kgs. (fully expanded with a minimum expanses of 5 cms.)

Height relaxable by 2.5 cms and Weight by 2 Kgs. In the case of Gorkhas, Garwalis, Assamese and Members of Scheduled Tribes

Physical Test for Female Candidates:

  • Walking : 1 Km in 20 minutes
  • Cycling : 3 Kms in 25 minutes

Physical Standards for the Post of Sub- Inspector in Central Bureau of Investigation:

  1. Height:
    For Men – 165 cms.
    For Women – 150 cms.
    Height relaxable for Hillsmen and Tribals : 5 cms.
  2. Chest :
    76 cms with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)
  3. Vision:
    Eye-sight (with or without glasses)
    Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
    Near vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

SSC CGL 2017 – Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL 2017 Examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below:

  • Tier-I : Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
  • Tier-II : Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
  • Tier-III : Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification.

Tier-I Examination:

  1. General Intelligence Reasoning – 50 marks
  2. General Awareness – 50 marks
  3. Quantitative Aptitude – 50 marks
  4. English Comprehension – 50 marks

Tier-II Examination:
