Parliament of India, Delhi has recently invited applications for the various post of Parliamentary Interpreter, Steno, Translator, Security Assistant and Proof Reader on direct recruitment basis. Candidates who’s age is not more than as specified in Parliament of India jobs notification and having qualification of Bachelor/ Master degree from the University/ Institute recognized by the Government of India with relevant experience (if any) are eligible to apply for the post.

Educational Qualification:

  1. Parliamentary Interpreter (English/ Hindi/ Odia) – Master degree from a recognized university in English with medium of Hindi Language up to degree level or Master degree in Hindi with medium of English Language up to degree level / Master degree from a recognized university in any discipline with Odia up to degree level
  2. Assistant Legislative/ Committee/ Protocol/ Executive Officer – Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university
  3. Stenographer (English) – Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university and minimum Shorthand speed of 80 wpm in English
  4. Security Assistant (Grade-II) – Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university
  5. Secretariat Assistant (English/ Hindi/ Urdu) – Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university and possessing a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in English on computer. Preference will be given to persons having typing speed of 40 w.p.m. both in English and Hindi / Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university and possessing a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in Urdu on computer.
  6. Translator – Master‟s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level; or Master‟s degree in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level; or Master‟s degree in any subject with Hindi and English as subjects at the degree level
  7. Proof Reader – Bachelor‟s degree from a recognised university with English or Hindi. Diploma in Printing Technology or P.G. Diploma in Book Publishing from any Institute approved by AICTE

Educational Qualification:

Maximum 27 years as on 14/08/2017

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government for SC/ ST candidates.
