HP TET 2017 Exam, Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has recently invited applications for Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) to fill various Teaching posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT). Candidates who’s age is not more than as specified in HP TET 2017 jobs notification and having qualification of B.A/ B.Com/ B.Sc./ B.Ed. from the University/ Institute recognized by the Government of India with relevant experience (if any) are eligible to apply for the post.

TGT (Arts)
  • B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.)
    OR
  • B.A./B.Com. with at least 45% marks(only for those who have passed B.Ed. upto 30.08.2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30.08.2009) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed.
    OR
  • B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education).

  • BA with at least 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education

  • Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

Junior Basic Training
  • 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognized Board/University and should possess two years JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the Central State Govt.

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

  • BA with at least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE(Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

  • BA with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education

Urdu Language Teacher
  • B.A. with Urdu as an elective subject and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

  • BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
    OR
  • BA with at least 45% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE(Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
    OR
  • BA with at least 50% marks with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit that the candidates need to attain is 21 years as of the examination year.
