CTET 2019 Notification details:
Name of Exam : Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019
- Teacher (Class I-V) (Primary Stage)
- Teacher (Class VI-VIII) (Elementary Stage)
Educational Qualification:
- Teacher (Classes I-V) (Primary Stage) – Senior Secondary with 50% marks and D.El.Ed/ B.El.Ed/ Graduation with D.El.Ed.
- Teacher (Class VI-VIII) (Elementary Stage) – Senior Secondary with BA/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed/ Graduation with D.El.Ed/ B.Ed.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates have to appear for Written Test (Paper I and Paper II)
Application Fee:
Gen/ OBC (Only Paper I or II) – Rs 700/-
Gen/ OBC (Both Paper I & II) – Rs 1200/-
SC/ST/ Differently Abled Person (Only Paper I or II) – Rs 350/-
SC/ST/Differently Abled Person (Both Paper I & II) – Rs 600/-

CTET Exam Pattern
CTET will be conducted in two phases:
- Paper I and
- Paper II
Paper I is conducted for candidates who aspire to become teacher for Class I to V and Paper II is conducted for candidates who aspire to become teacher for Class VI to VIII. Candidate is required to score minimum 60% to qualify CTET Exam. One major thing to note is that the score of CTET is valid for 7 years after the result has been declared for the same by CBSE.

CTET Syllabus
The CTET 2018 syllabus mainly focus on Child Development and Pedagogy and concept of education in schools. Mathematics, Science/ Environmental Science are also major sections. Language is one section and candidate needs to be master in to clear CTET 2018 exam.
CTET Admit Card
The admit card for CTET 2018 exam will be uploaded on the official website https://ctet.nic.in. Candidates are required to download admit card to appear for CTET 2018 exam. Admit Card will be released separately for candidates applying for Paper I, Paper II, for both Paper I and Paper II.
CTET Results
The declaration of results will be done by CBSE on its official website after the examination of CTET is conducted.
