AFCAT 2020, Indian Air Force has recently invited applications for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for Flying Branch & Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical)/ NCC Special Entry for Courses Commencing in January 2021 Total : 249 Jobs. Candidates who’s age is not more than as specified in AFCAT jobs notification and having qualification of Graduation/ BE/ B.Tech/ PG Degree from the University/ Institute recognized by the Government of India are eligible to apply for the post.
About: Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT)
Air Force Common Aptitude Test is conducts twice in year ie, in the months of June and December. Through AFCAT, candidates are recruited at various posts in Air Force. AFCAT is only one of the steps involved in the entire selection process for getting selected as an officer in the IAF. On clearing the AFCAT, shortlisted candidates will be called for Services Selection Board for Testing.

Maths & Physics at 10+2 level, Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or BE/ B.Tech from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent, Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent (Final year students are also eligible to apply) for Flying branches, PG Degree in any science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (provided Maths & Physics were studied at Graduation level with minimum of 55% marks in both) for Ground Duty (Meteorology branch).

- Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry – 20 to 24 years as on 01/01/2021 i.e. born between 02/01/1997 to 01/01/2001 (both dates inclusive).
- Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch – 20 to 26 years as on 01/01/2021 i.e. born between 02/01/1995 to 01/01/2001 (both dates inclusive).
Candidates have to appear for Physical Standards/ Medical Standards/ Written Test and/or Interview.
